Copper-free click chemistry for the in situ crosslinking of photodegradable star polymersw
Covalently crosslinked polymeric materials which swell, but do not dissolve, in a given solvent (polymer gels) have found utility in a number of applications including tissue engineering, drug delivery, chemical sensing, microfluidics, cosmetics, and microelectronics. End-linked polymer gels (model networks or MNs) are especially promising for drug delivery applications due to their easily cont...
متن کاملClick-crosslinkable and photodegradable gelatin hydrogels for cytocompatible optical cell manipulation in natural environment
This paper describes the generation of "click-crosslinkable" and "photodegaradable" gelatin hydrogels from the reaction between dibenzocycloctyl-terminated photoclevable tetra-arm polyethylene glycol and azide-modified gelatin. The hydrogels were formed in 30 min through the click-crosslinking reaction. The micropatterned features in the hydrogels were created by micropatterned light irradiatio...
متن کاملSynthesis of Polyvinyltetrazole by Combination of Free Radical Polymerization and Click Chemistry for Adsorption of Pb (II) in Aqueous Solution
Polyvinyltetrazole (PVT) is produced from acrylonitrile (AN) monomer by using free-radicalpolymerization and Click Chemistry methods. The resulting polymer with a broad range of tetrazolegroup contents was conveniently synthesized through [3+ 2] azide-nitrile cycloaddition reaction ofnitrile-containing polymer with sodium azide in DMF. The prepared PVT was characterized by13CN...
متن کاملClick chemistry improved wet adhesion strength of mussel-inspired citrate-based antimicrobial bioadhesives.
For the first time, a convenient copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC, click chemistry) was successfully introduced into injectable citrate-based mussel-inspired bioadhesives (iCMBAs, iCs) to improve both cohesive and wet adhesive strengths and elongate the degradation time, providing numerous advantages in surgical applications. The major challenge in developing such adhesives wa...
متن کاملThree-Component and Click Strategy for Synthesis of β-Hydroxy 1,4-Disubstituted 1,2,3-Triazoles Derivatives Catalyzed by 1,4-Dihydroxyanthraquinone-copper(II) Complex onto Nano AlPO4
In this work, copper(II) heterogeneous nanocatalyst supported on modified AlPO4 (Cu(II)-DA@Nano AlPO4) was used for the synthesis of some biological active heterocyclic molecules, particularly for the efficient conversion of a wide range of non-activated terminal alkynes to β-hydroxy 1,4-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazolethrough a three-component “click” reaction at room temperature in water. The reg...
